This last week I officially made the switch from a PC to a Mac. I'll be honest here, I didn't make the switch because I hated PC's (I still like them, and have to use them for work), but because a MacBook was the best deal I could get, and I was in desperate need of replacing my 6 year-old Dell laptop.
You see, Apple has released a new version of the MacBook, so the older ones (which were released a year ago) are on sale. Couple this with my nifty educational discount, and I have myself a MacBook!
I haven't learned all the bells and whistles yet, and haven't transferred all my documents (and more importantly, my iTunes library) over yet, but I'm learning the ropes, and already I see why people love Mac's so much! This is a smaller laptop in size, but it does so much more than I've ever been able to do. I look forward to learning the ropes of this new toy. If you have any suggestions or "how to" tips, please feel free to offer them here!
