I'm heading out of town for a week to go to a conference in Dallas, Texas. That's right, this liberal lady is about to go mess with Texas! Think I'll fit in? I contemplated wearing my Obama t-shirt on the plane, but ultimately decided against it. It probably would be wise to be on my best behavior while I'm down there, seeing as how they're all such big fans of the 2nd Amendment.
I do plan to check out the music scene in Austin while I'm there for a few days. Finally, my music genius will find a home! John Lennon's birthday would have been the 9th, so a friend of mine has found us a way to celebrate. Awesome!
