The last two days, it has been unbearably hot in Oregon. Last weekend, it was barely in the 60's, now it's been two days of almost 100 degree weather. WHAT THE FRAK?? Last time I checked, it was only the middle of May! Why on earth is it so hot so early? I'm pretty sure Al Gore and his "Global Warming" are to blame here...
What makes the heat so hard (besides the fact that I am a fair weather girl), is that we don't seem to believe in air conditioning here in the Northwest. Most people rationalize that it's only really hot for a few weeks each year, so AC isn't really all that necessary. Um, yeah, I'm pretty sure that those few weeks would be much more bearable if we had AC!
In some sort of ironic twist of fate, I don't have AC at home or at work. When the thermometer gets above 90 degrees, I have no good way to cool off, and I will complain about this. You have officially been warned.
